Off the Wall: CCPG Update April 2024

2024 Selection Review 
Following the CCPG update on the 28 March we can confirm the 2024 GB Team selections were subjected to a limited review to ensure alignment with the updated Annual Performance Strategy (APS). 

As noted in the March update, the decision to review selection did not mean any changes would necessarily be made, only that the selection decisions would be reviewed to ensure consistency with the updated clause of the APS.  

The selection processes as laid out in the GB Team Selection Framework were followed to enable a review of selection decisions and no additional selections to the 2024 GB Team were made. 
 
2025 GB Team Selection Update 
We understand the need for athletes to have timely sight of the proposed 2025 selection process. We will share an overview of the process by inviting athletes, parents and coaches to online consultation sessions by 31 May 2024. 

Through this consultation there will be clarity about which domestic competitions will be incorporated into the process, but it is anticipated that National and British Championships will be incorporated into the selection criteria.
